632B6AF3-1FF6-46F0-A10C-88EF1FA43362.jpeg I’m building a load for next deer season while reading about platform IP theft lol, I’m getting really close with this one! At 3159 fps I’m hoping the Berger gets enough penetration before it detonates if it’s a close shot, these bergers really shoot, I just have no big game experience with them yet.

Mind you I had my favoritest longbows for several years before I went strictly recurve.
Jim Ploens 21st century longbows.
I drove to Minnesota to see the man in the flesh.
He had a few bows yet in his possession. I bought several including a couple left handers for my compare.

I'm looking forward to shooting this little girl, starting tomorrow.
Might even bump her right into turkey service this spring.

Praise the Lord.

84507CA3-0B81-4E72-924C-F8538FAE54DC.jpeg The factory trigger wasn’t cutting it in the new bergara hmr 22-250 so today we will see if this jewell is up to the task, the bergara trigger is nice for a factory gun but being lawyer friendly with no adjustments I couldn’t get the groups I wanted and I’m blaming the trigger, maybe it was user error time will tell LOL

As someone who has always shot just a regular target, I'm loving this 3d target so far. I love being able to follow through the shot and see where it would hit inside of an animal if I had actually taken that shot.

IMO once u have ur bow sighted in, it is counterproductive to practice shoot at anything but a 3d. The animals don't.have dots on them. Unless u just feel like having a little shooting match with ur buddy. But if ur training to shoot deer u should probably shot at deer shaped things....somebody needs to invent an off-road rumba u mount 3d targets on
Shoot 1 arrow at a time or u be sorry.... :tongueclosed: Nice shooting
Is that the "big shooter"? It looks like it so I give u a tip.... field point destroy it way faster than broadhead. The exit side blows out a big chunk vs clean cut with a broadhead

Bought me a truck! My old beat to hell ranger finally bit the dust (it was nice enough to die literally right in front of a scrapyard). Did some searching and settled on this 96 f150 4x4 with 98k miles on it.

My favorite year. I had a 2wd 96 back several years ago. You could really make it pop if you took that gamecock tag off!

I'm an alumnus but I have already taken that off to switch on my "I love Chimichangas" tag.

My family is mostly gamecock. I’m pretty sure if I cut myself I would bleed orange. Hopefully we’ll get to play again this season.

I ran 1.5 miles, then I did another 3 miles on the treadmill at 10-15 degrees incline, then I lifted chest and back, then I got laid, then I walked the dog with my sons, now I’m on saddle hunter waiting for the spaghetti to get done. Retirement is great!
