I don’t worry to much. I wash and ozone it before season starts. (As a gun hunter my season is fairly short) then it’s totes in the truck to keep it away from household smells.
I’ll retreat with ozone during the hunt.

I just went through all my stuff and organized things into 9-27 gallon totes. They aren't all full, but I like having things organized.
Outter layer
Base layers
Insulation layers
Boots
Packs
Misc
Ect.

Totes for me. Organized by season/style of hunting. Also use Space Bags inside the totes for layers, HBS etc...

I have alot of stuff so it gets challenging.

I have a scent crusher ozone bag, a cheap scent crusher field bag, and multiple totes.

I have two portable closets set up on my back porch with ozone generators hanging in them. Closets have area to hang clothes and shelves on each side for baselayers, etc. One for my stuff one for my boys. Also have a couple of totes for various things.

I purchased some "ziploc" brand from WM online which have a reasonable foam gasket. They do not (as I recall) claim to be vapor tight, but they work outstandingly well. I ozone treated cloths and could smell it in the totes for weeks, even when opening to retrieve heavier layers as the season got colder.

I have a tendency to 'over stuff' tubs, so the locking/sealable lid helps me out...

After using totes for years, much prefer my portable closet with an ozone generator. So much easier to pick out what I’m wearing when it’s all hanging up. I’m to the point where I could use a larger closet, but I definitely won’t be going back to totes for stuff I use regularly.
