What is it about saddlehunter's that makes us gear addicts?

It's funny. I got into saddle hunting because I am a cheap skate and I thought that if I could have one saddle it would save me from buying a bunch of tree stands............ohhhh boy did I make a mistake.

But at least I am having a lot more fun spending spending my money on 'experimental gear' than I would have been spending it on tree stands.

And you can fit them all in 1 rubbermade bin!!!! I defintely cleared up a lot of space when I got rid of the majority of my stands.

The day I saw Scott F on the range and we got to talking and he pulled out his saddle to show me I decided to make my own sitdrag/saddle and listed my stands for sale. I had the familiarity with the ropes and such from military mountaineering school, it just made sense once I saw how it worked. I’m a cheap skate as well so I diy a lot of my stuff by it seems like I always acquire stuff for future projects and change things up day to day.
