What's everyone's favorite big platform?

One of 2. Last year after season while I was going to be modding the mission, I also got a windwalker and modded it too. Hunted about half and half this season. Gonna make a couple tweaks to the windwalker so I can climb with it and it should be pretty well dialed in. The mission worked flawlessly. I REALLY like it.

Interesting! How do you carry it in? Looks heavy?

Less than 7# and I just put it on my pack. Last hunt I tried it with the platow pack and it worked great. Didnt even notice it. On my frame pack I carry it between the bag and my sherman pocket.

Pretty interested in that set up! Does it just stay folded up firmly when you are climbing or does it try to come down? Seems like a compact set up that still gives you comfortable sits

It stays up. With the cam cleat, I just push the platform out enough to reach the rope in the cam to make moves. I tightened the platform just to where it isnt floppy.

@Bets There you go. I did replace the versa button with a cam cleat before season and it made climbing with it easier for sure.
So this is an interesting Idea that I have not seen before. Do the teeth hit the tree? or is it just both standoff brackets touching the tree?

When the platform is cammed down it lifts the bottom of the stick and the standoff off the tree. Bottom standoff gives it stability during the climb.

Got it.. But it give me an idea. Larger bottom bracket, teeth don't touch, an another strap w/ a versa button below it. On the REALLY big trees that I hunt, platforms don't like side pressure. I've been trying to solve it.

My concern in that configuration would be is the cast tabs where the platform is attached to the post strong enough without the stabilizing provided by the teeth being against the tree? I have no idea on that aspect of it.

Another vote for TL Mission. It's the first platform that I bought and the only one I haven't resold, and I've tried many.
