Who uses a rock climbing harness as their saddle?

I am using a Black Diamond Alpine BOD until I can come with the scratch to get a "proper tree saddle".

Anybody in the same boat?

I have an Alpine Bod.
Are you hanging from a single rope?
I made a linesman's belt for it by running tubular climbing webbing around the back and having Fig 8 knots on each side that I could clip into.

I only used mine for rigging and as a safety harness in a hang-on or climber stand.
That harness can be a real 'nut pincher' if you aren't careful when your whole bodyweight is hanging on it.

Yeah... it sorta helps that it is really cold in the NE and that induces "shrinkage" for the "package carrier" to be thus more compact/retracted to get out of the way - less likely to get strapped down inadvertently

I'm using the thing with a single rope all the way to the ground for both climbing and safety harness. I pull up the rope when I get to height.
