Wild Edge Platform?

I am waiting on buying any more platforms until I see what comes out. Between WE & Ernie I think the group is going to be fine.

I’m waiting to see what comes out as well. So far most of the wild edge accessories have been designed to be used with the current step. If there platform attaches to a single step it’s not working for someone my size. I played with the plywood platform enough to know that my weight will pull the standoffs away from the tree leaving the bottom as a pivot point. It’s not going to fall off the tree but it doesn’t leave a sense of stability and security either. For someone that is in the 150-200 pound range it may work great. Andrew isn’t on here much but maybe he can answer some questions on it.
What do you say @SteppsbyWildEdgeInc ?

I have been holding off on buying a platform until I see what WE comes out with as well. I was also going to order the WE bag as I was a cheap skate and tried to re-purpose my own but, didn't like it. I have been holding off on ordering the bag because I think Andrew made reference to a new bag they are coming out with that will also hold the platform.

Good point. I can see where the leverage would be a problem. Especially on soft trees.

The idea of a platform that synchs well with the stepps is very appealing. I enjoyed using stepps to climb and as a platform, but have gone back to Ameristeps because setting 3 "level" is just so fiddly. It would be nice if I could go back to one bag carrying everything.

Honestly I am losing a bit of faith in this project ....I hope I am wrong as I would love to see what @SteppsbyWildEdgeInc can bring to the market!

Could be a little bit of market timing? Idk. I know we all want it now but sometimes it take considerable testing to perfect things.
