Heres a little pouch I made to attach to the back of a saddle. Holds 5 WE steps and aidner/naider inside steps with amsteel.
It attaches to saddle with these clips.

That’s really nice. I can barely keep my saddle up with bridge and linesman’s in a pouch on the back of it. It would maybe be pretty awesome on the waist belt on my backpack.

Looks good, but I agree with @EricS it would pull my saddle off due to lack of butt. I would hook it to my pack for sure. Love the Kryptek

Man, I need to learn some sewing skills. I really like that pouch! I'm trying to find something similar for a set of 10 SA steps (the bag they came with is junk). I'll probably end up just using a fanny pack or something since I don't have a sewing machine and really don't want to hand stitch one.

Never thought my hunting addiction would make me want to learn to run a sewing machine, but y'all keep posting nice stuff like this....

Definitly not for transport. Just an option while climbing.
