I've been stung a bunch, but the worst was a ground yellow jacket nest that I had no idea that I kicked into going down a bank, that was about 50 stings that day... Luckily I'm not allergic, yet lol.

I had a similar experience at about 12. I was walking along the bank of a rocky river in summer drought conditions. I stepped on a ground nest that looked like a boulder. They covered me from head to toe instantly. I made
For the water, but it took about a dozen attempts before I found water deep enough to get submerged.

yeah no thanks, im allergic...not severely, but enough to where i would have a really bad time. When we hunted in Illinois, buddy of mine climbed up a tree and then when daylight hit he could see the huge hornet nest right above his head, needless to say, he didnt stay in that tree very long after.

I've had yellow jackets tear me up and I did not have the presence of mind to spell rappel, much less try to do it. Luckily, I was on the ground and started slinging stuff and just ran off at full speed flailing mindlessly.
