Hehe.. this topic is right up my valley:
1. Drove an hour to field for first light geese hunt. Large feld, so about another hour to haul popup blind, decoy setup and so on.
Get inside the blind, wait for first flock to land on the field. Tap, tap - something is missing.
Left the damn shotgun at home.
2. After an all day deer sit, walk back to truck under a rain, change my boots to running shoes for drive. While changing placed boots under tail gate "temporarily" to avoid raining inside.
Only remembered about these boots on next day while gearing up for a hunt in completely different locations a few hours away. Hehe. Luckily those were not stolen when I came back to pick those up several days later, in fact someone just moved them to the edge of road..
3-to-infinity: walk to my tree, climb up to realize in left the quiver in truck/home etc....
It happened so many times, now I built a arrow holder out if a vent pipe and keep it inside xbow case tied to xbow, so it's impossible to have those 2 separately.
