I just made my own, from 1/8" amsteel. It was easy, but time consuming. I'm not sure what a fair price would be, I would have to recheck the material price I'd you're interested.

I would not use 1/8 amsteel too thin and not as strong as I like.. Or even 1/4 for a tether... the bark would be hard on amsteel because of movement. It is often used as a bridge though. If you use it on a stick there is not constant movement.

I second this @Dylan . I made my last one out of 1/4 inch amsteel for a 6ft daisy chain in less that 1/2 an hour while watching tv. It goes pretty quick once you get started.
