Yet another lone wolf build - wide base

YES YES this has the "wings" the other platforms dont. I think the ideal platform would have the wings(V that goes on tree) then the other side would be rounded giving you say 12" of platform. Think baseball field, all bases same distance from home plate.

Some more recent views from this year. Hacked of the widest part of wings. Also shortened the post, which was nice for packability but turned dangerous when I noticed the top claw started cutting into my strap. Still working on the optimal space between the strap button and top claw.

Love this thing with the two ameristeps on the strap. My only wish is for a quick on/off aneristep for packability and stealth setting up. They occasionally bang around a bit when I’m not careful.
