Well I had some spare parts around and my son has been hunting with me for 2 yrs now so I thought I’d introduce him to saddle hunting. He won’t really hunt yet just short trips up the tree to get use to it. He has his normal harness and likes sitting in the JX3 but here is how this looks so far.

Yes that way he is attached on the way up. I’ll post some pics with him in it after the weekend. Still

Few more alterations to do, fitted the groin straps today so I’ll get those installed and remove some webbing to clean it up. The back clips that were for the waist belt will be for back support. He is to young to hunt from it but at least he can hang with me to watch and learn. I’ll post some more pics once we get it cleaned up and more finished. Work in progress still
