Zing It as pull up cord?

Anyone try using Zing-It as a pull-up cord for your bow/bag etc? The 1.75mm cord has a 400 pound breaking strength.

The two problems I would expect with this use:
1. It's so small it cuts your hand easily while pulling it (gloves?)
2. It's so light it's hard to lower straight down (a weight/hook would probably negate this)

And if that does work reasonably, then I wonder if I can ditch the hassle of a doyles gear hoist, figure-8 wrapping, or a tangle of line with one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Strait-Line-1932885-IRWIN-Speedline-Chalk/dp/B017HABDUG

Just replace the line with zing-it and don't add the chalk

Eh, it may not be better. That's why I asked if anyone had tried it.... it was just a thought I pondered.

But it IS smaller, cheaper, and probably lighter. Not automatically retracting. Not camo. *shrug* I may end up playing with it for giggles.

Yeah, I didn't look at the price. Also, I assumed it was one of those metal heavy things... but it is pastic and apparently weighs 9.4 ounces. Might work. I'd compare it to the HSS hoist at that point, since it is purpose built and would be similar.

No experience with Zing-it but I do use Weaver throw line (very similar). There's no reason I can see for not using it as a pull up line.

One thing I found when trying to use throw line over paracord is throw line seems to tangle and knot itself all up. I use paracord without the inner strands.

300 lb test on a small spool. When you let it down you just stick your finger in the middle and let it slide. No burn, then throw it down. Once you're at the bottom spool it up. Any knots pull out easy because the line is so slick. Going up just put it in a cargo pocket and it'll slowly let out as you climb. My Doyle's is a dog leash now.
