Ok guys ,
I have seen a couple videos , I'm using muddy pro sticks and have my mantis saddle ordered ( praying I can learn to use it in time ,for hunting season) I have a lone wolf platform available to me. I am looking at being mobile and carrying a platform just sounds like weight to me and more crap to try to strap to my pack. The rubber steps look like a better option for mobility.
Now my question is what do you guys think of them and do you use the ratchet strap that comes with them ore are you guys modifying the ratchet stap with something quieter ?

The steps are decent but you have to get them super super tight. A ratchet strap is IMO the only way to get them tight enough. Some guys are using a over the center boat buckle. They aren't rubber they are actually plastic. You have to be careful of clanging them together as they can be a bit noisy. All in all they are decent . Hope this helps

I haven't had any luck with them. I'd rather use the ameristeps.

I agree with Cory. They are alright as long as you tighten them down as hard as you can with the ratchet strap

Oh these are interesting , these could be set out and if camoflauged I could just move from set to set with my climbing sticks , man I can't wait for my saddle to show up
@Mike Nutto , take a look at this thread. I ended up ordering a bunch of these. They will be used for permanent rings, but one set will be used for my mobile setup as well. I have been testing them out and they seem to hold up quite well. Plenty large for my size ten feet. Pete
