Jx3, carbon fiber bolts, and definitely some of @DanO Versa buttons. I never thought I would buy Versa buttons but his are legit (as well as every other product he sells). Besides that he's a super cool guy who every saddle Hunter should be glad to do business with if they have a need for any of his products. Same goes for John, the creator of the Jx3.

Dan is awesome. Genuinely one of the most pleasant individuals I've ever met, and his gear is legit. I got to have a good conversation with John as well, and he is also a pleasure.

I love the @Nutterbuster carbon bolt climbing system. It only took 8 minutes for him to get to 20'.

The JX3 is pretty slick too.

I liked @DanO squirrel steps as well.

Lots of fun stuff this year.

I missed that. @ckossuth talked me into standing on one of his. At 290 I don’t think I will be investing in carbon bolts but it held. Carl learned a little about our natural anti slip concoction when he pulled that carbon bolt out of that pine tree.

Lol!!! That was crazy! I’ve never seen tree sap like that! That little CF bolt did hold up like a champ though.

.

That was actually the @Vtbow (carbon bolts) and @WHW (hand drill) system. The only thing I can take credit for is the magnet to hold my drill and the cartridge belt to hold my bolts.:)

But it is a pretty slick system. 1lb and no swinging from aiders. 6-10 minutes for the first climb, and all of 2 minutes for next time. It changed my life.

Ha, so humble that squirrel slayer...ner eh... squirrel conservationist...

All kidding aside, he did the video and talked them up a lot more than I did and gave a ton of feedback for people. Group effort.

Which magnet did you get to hold your drill on your pack? I'm sure you've mentioned it before but I can't remember.

It's a 3 pack of nickle-sized neodymium disc magnets. I got them from Lowe's I think, but they're pretty widely available. Just make sure to get neodymium; ceramic won't hold good. I used all three. Stacked them and sandwiched the strap for my hydration hose between them.

Without a doubt I will be using the carbon bolt & hand drill method this year. It was an eye opening experience seeing all of the methods that you were all using.
That jx3 was sweet. John’s attention to detail was insane. That thing is so comfortable it felt like cheating. I’m looking forward to seeing @tylermalone do some work in it.
Clayton’s battle belt system was awesome. I can see doing something like that to carry extra gear + the bolts and hand drill.

I kinda like the sound of that idea, being able to pick where you can put specific gear is tempting.

Dang! Didn't hear any interest in those while I was there. I had 2 in the truck I wanted to sell for $10 each. Cost too much to ship or I would list them on the site.
