So what are you buying after SaddlePalooza

Honestly @g2outdoors, I'm VERY thankful!!! I've said it before, and I'll say it again... Saddlepalooza was a FANTASTIC experience, and the knowledge and friendships that came from that weekend has been a tremendous value. Yeah, I've spent some money, but I can't remember being so excited for an upcoming deer season!
We have been having a lot of fun with all the DIY and testing climbing methods since Saddlepalooza. Can't be said enough on here that everyone we've met via the site and in person are good people and nothing but helpful. I am even more excited for the coming season so @KelvinM12 can help me get my next big buck out that I took from my own DIY saddle on public land. We're going to need a bigger cart!

My Saddlepalooza $ damage has been so far a Wraptor, Perch, Tethrd products including a Predator, tether, linesman ropes, and recliner backrest, squirrel steps, another Ropeman 1, 48 ft of 1/4" amsteel, and 50 ft of tubular webbing. Feel an ATC and some rappelling rope is going to be ordered soon too.

I’ve been binge listening to Dave Ramsey all day so Im out on buying anything else for a while lol

I did his baby steps and can tell you it’s worth it in the end. Never did call in for my debt free scream but I listened to his podcasts enough and I would say it with each guest that I felt like I called in.

Lol, it’s worth it in the end. We started his program about 4 years ago so we’re almost completely debt free. I have a pretty healthy hunting/fishing line in the budget now. Keep at it bud, you’ll be able to look through the classifieds again soon enough

next time not a day trip though LOL

I made it a day trip this year and regretted it the whole time. That’s just what I had to work with. It was worth the day trip for the jambalaya and everything else was just a bonus.

Of course I ordered mine last year but I bought the JX3 hybrid from watching videos and hearing testimonials from guys that tried it out. As far as what helped me with my hunting budget I stopped buying bows every year. I will probably now buy bows every six or eight years. I would buy them and get them home and then realize that they are really not much different than what I had.

Let's make it a whole week next year!!!!

Heck I was going to stay one more day this year. Then everyone left, I found out dinner wouldn’t be served, and My spot wasn’t reserved! Lol I would have been the sole survivor! Lol

I would read the regs close but I’m pretty sure you can log into some areas for fishing and spend the night by the lake. Of course you can’t be in your possession of a firearm while fishing.

The only authorized camping location in conjunction with hunting is the campground. You could probably make a valid case if you had a boat and/or fishing poles.
