Check out bigbluesaw.com for DIY waterjet cutting. Reasonably priced, quick delivery.

You have CAD so you can just upload your DXF files and get instant quotes. I suggest you look at 7075 aluminum for the strength, more $, but stronger since you are not welding.

That’s who I’m going through.... $16 each is the price I got from them for 6061 1/2” thick... I had never looked into 7075 I may check into it.

7075 has about twice the yield strength of 6061(74ksi vs 40ksi), but can't be welded. It is easily 3 to 4x the cost of 6061 though....

Had a 1/2” x5/8”x1” price of 6061 welded under where the steps will sit then a 1/4” grade 8 through that with a stainless insert on the back side..... the welds are mostly to keep the block from twisting the bolt will hold the weight it’s self.

Experimental Versa button 3/4” wide

Why that shape?

Mostly for looks kind of to match the style of the steps... I knew they had to be only 3/4” wide to get them to do what I want but in prefer to work better for daisy chain webbing they needed to be taller.
