Did you use a 1/2” drill bit then a counter set?

how did you do yours differently vs the others that have been done?Yes, 1/2" drill, 3/4" countersink. The countersink really cleans things up. I can provide other measurements as well if you'd like but I did mine differently than most.

id be interested in the measurements so i can compare to my stock sticks and see how everything lays out if possible, thanksI cut mine off at the top rather than the bottom and cut them a bit shorter than most I have seen. This allowed me to evenly space the holes, something I'm a little OCD about.
Job well done!!! 3 for the price of one
You should be counter sinking at a very slow speed. I put a stop on my mill to insure same depth.Man those look smooth. I did the 1/2” holes and bought the 3/4 countersink but from Lowe’s but I’m having issues getting a smooth finish. Seems like it wants to jump around. Anyone else run into this?

Yeah I did it with my cordless drill slow and no problem. I guess my drill press it too fast. I’ve got the belt on the slowest speed supposed to be 610 RPM I guess that’s too much? It’s just a porter cable drill press so it’s nothing fancy.

My drill press is just a cheapo Ryobi on the slowest setting and mine is not skipping at all. You sure about your speed?
