Yeah, they make some noise, but on a hard oak on a cold morning, every stick makes noise...
He’s probably on mark TwainPretty sure E bikes are illegal on state owned Missouri ground?
That hollow metal sound was awful. Need to fill the tubes with something and add stealth strips.Yeah, they make some noise, but on a hard oak on a cold morning, every stick makes noise...
It looked like he had stealth strips on the tube already. That hollow metal sound was awful. Need to fill the tubes with something and add stealth strips.
Def would consider great stuff inside the stick then.It looked like he had stealth strips on the tube already.

“Why couldn’t they design these things to be quieter-jeez!” Haha~8:45 mark in this video....
Wow, those creak and clank like mad....Hey look I didn't create another thread about the same subject. Mods can thank me later.
Thanks. My reference was actually to the other video review above, not your hunt. But I did notice they were extremely noisy during your hunt too.Couple easy mods quiets them down pretty good. The main issue with those in that video was the finish on the stand-off. I fixed it right after that hunt lol. That kind of noise doesn’t fly with me.

Having tried different kinds of expanding foam on sticks and platforms IMO is doesn't have any benefit. It really doesn't deaden sound just the ring.....and no matter how hard u try, u will make a mess.
Never tried it mainly because I've given up on metal stuff but I think stuffing with wall insulation or pillow batting would deaden sound better than expanding foam and stealth strip the outside surfaces
The ghetto fab/use what u got side of me would put pipe insulation and cut so rope attachment is still accessable and vet wrap...
