Yeah, they make some noise, but on a hard oak on a cold morning, every stick makes noise...

~8:45 mark in this video....

“Why couldn’t they design these things to be quieter-jeez!” Haha

Well at least they left it in the video for the customers to see/hear. Man that sure does sing doesn’t it, I guess they are shaped like wind chimes?

Couple easy mods quiets them down pretty good. The main issue with those in that video was the finish on the stand-off. I fixed it right after that hunt lol. That kind of noise doesn’t fly with me.

Thanks. My reference was actually to the other video review above, not your hunt. But I did notice they were extremely noisy during your hunt too.

Can't wait to see them when they finally release for sale! I'm sure after hunting/testing them all year the guys have made small mods to make them as good as they can be.

Just what the customer wants to hear. "Thanks for your $120/stick now go mod them so they're actually quiet"

Having tried different kinds of expanding foam on sticks and platforms IMO is doesn't have any benefit. It really doesn't deaden sound just the ring.....and no matter how hard u try, u will make a mess.

Never tried it mainly because I've given up on metal stuff but I think stuffing with wall insulation or pillow batting would deaden sound better than expanding foam and stealth strip the outside surfaces

I'd think stealth strips and end caps with something soft inside the end caps might work better than the spray in foam.

I wouldn't want to take them apart, but at the factory a combo of

insert a cylinder of acoustic/sound deadening foam and then drill through that, plus end caps.

That foam weighs almost nothing, but could deteriorate over time.

Then add stealth strips on the outside. I can't imagine something being loud after that.
