Need to convince them to cast an old style lonewolf seat/smaller assassin stand for this growing market. Could be the only player in town

I ordered erniepower's kit but we don't know if his kit will fit this new seat. So I'm not sure how this is going to work out yet.

That's interesting...
Yeah, I remember reading somewhere about them when they first came out that the guy that started Lone wolf joined up with the guys that started XOP and they were out of Iowa, they originally made mostly ladder stands before he joined with them. Who knows though!

The new platform arrived today. It looks exactly like the platform pictured toward the beginning of this discussion. (I haven't figured out how to post pics yet.) Specs are 12 1/4" deep x 14" wide; 36 oz.; 1 5/8" width metal to metal at the flanges where it mounts to the post.

Just got my XOP seat and brackets today. I ordered it last week along with Ernies kit. Fits really well! I put it together and hung it up for a test drive. Once you cam-lock it in it don't move even with side pressure.

Is that with the new platform design? The $29 version?

It was 29 bucks. So I'm thinking so. It looks real similar to my lone wolf alpha seat.

Damn it! How did I miss this???

I much prefer my LW seat to the newer XOP seat. That one is way too big IMO. I'm going to pick up this new seat. Thanks for posting!

Post a pic of the two seats side by side i'd like to see the footprint comparison. I'm bigfoot so a little larger platform doesn't bother me much.

Xop on left. It's a bit overkill.
