    I just received mine in the mail. I decided to paint it before trying it, but I did purchase a cast predator bracket to replace the original. Post is 1 1/4 but the bolt hole on the predator is smaller so will have to drill it out. I believe the Hawk is 5/16.

    Rix, Well said. I wish I had deeper pockets to get the top of the line gear that is out there, but from what I've been reading and now seen, I believe the Apex will serve a lot of saddle hunters perfectly.
