    It is rated for 25Kn or 5400lbs so unles you are a really big boy they should be plenty strong enough. You said you bought these for the same reason I mentioned but then said they are close to the same thing originally supplied with the Kestrel. So do these fit the Ropeman better?

    Ok, I added the Ropeman 1 ascenders to my tree line and to my lineman's belt. Have not climbed or put the saddle back on a tree since adding. just messed around a little here at the house. Question....the carabiners that came with the Kestrel saddle will fit in the Ropeman but they are not...
