Double step for Lone Wolf sticks

Unfortunately, I have not made a lot of progress on these lately. I have finalized a drawing, taking some suggestion from others. I’m needing some assistance from the CNC gurus at work to get the drawings into the machines. They have both agreed to help, when they can. They keep those guys...

New Mathews Triax - Love it!

The Triax, with its huge cams, has the same overall length as my older 31” ata bow. String angle is not an issue.

New Mathews Triax - Love it!

Good to hear how much you like it! Mine shipped on Monday hopefully I will be shooting it by the weekend. I shot 3 blade muzzy’s this year. While they’re not the latest thing, they have had a lot of satisfied customers. They’re cheap and everywhere that sells broad heads around here carries...

    Kestrel shipping

I just received an update. Ordered on 11/1, estimated to ship on 2/23. 7+ weeks. At least I’ll have time to get the rest of my gear sorted out. I have no doubt it’ll be worth the wait.

Double step for Lone Wolf sticks

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll keep an eye on the tubing. I was looking for a set of heliums originally, but they won’t have anymore available for several months. I was anxious to get climbing! The first time I used the lone wolf’s I knew I wanted a double top step.

    Last season in the saddle.

That was a nice buck. Really unfortunate you didn’t get to keep perusing him.

Double step for Lone Wolf sticks

Thanks I’m on version 4 now. I keep finding flaws. Obviously keeping weight to a minimum, and load capicity reasonably high is priority. Im going to work on getting them to allow stacking of multiple sticks. Have not really had much time to work on it lately.

    And so it begins....

Ok, that’s a serious collar there! Chasing deer is a valid reason for it. I’m sure a lot of people have done more harm than good with e-collars. I haven’t used a trash breaker. I have a 550 pro that I really like. What’s a “red one”?

What are your plans for the trashbreaker? Do you have some serious dog training issues?

    Hello from Illinois

I usually never visit off topic forums! I think some of it may be that this is a small group. Mostly true enthusists. There’s always someone arguing about my (bow, hunting style, whatever) is better than your whatever on the bigger forums. Anyway, admin is doing a good job keeping things...

    Hello from Illinois

I’m really digging this group. There is a very high “signal to noise ratio” on here. Far less bias and chest thumping than most hunting sites! I have learned quite a bit already, have a kestrel in order, and can’t wait until next season.

    Climbing stick question, seeking advice?

I emailed Hawk on their helium sticks. They said May for availablity.

Double step for Lone Wolf sticks

I don’t have my own CNC, but I do have access to one at work. The second picture is a stress test. 250lbs downward pressure on the very edges of the step. 0.39mm deflection in a titanium step. Aluminum was still only .43mm. I had assumed that titanium would be significantly stronger, and I could...

Double step for Lone Wolf sticks

I’m working on a double step for the top step of my sticks. At the design stage now. This is new software to me. I’m working on this in my spare time at work, so it might take a while before I’m standing on one. I might have a few extra available at some point. Working on an alternate version too
