    Tether as a step aider

    Thanks guys. I think I'm going to need to add something to hold it to my foot better and figure out a way that I can attach it easily to my sticks by just raising my foot and not having to adjust the length each time. I don't plan to use any mechanical devices, only friction hitches.

    I got some to these bucksteps for cheap some time ago and I am considering drilling them to reduce weight, just not sure if it would be worth the effort. As is one stick weighs 2 lbs 7 oz (1/8" aluminum construction). They are about 20" in overall length. Thinking about drilling 1/2" holes 1"...

    Wild Edge step bag

    My WE Bag busted the stitching along the zipper because it was so tight. I have rigged up my predator platform with gear ties to hold my steps. Used it like this on a couple hunts now. Seems to work ok. I'll probably diy a cover to go over this to keep it from tearing up the inside of my pack...
