    DIY Bow Holder/Hanger

If my gear tie ever breaks on the hookster I'll probably go this route! I do have any S Biners but I will use them on the saddle.

    Sharing Back Band Patterns/Designs

This is my version that I’ve been working on. It’s Tethrd inspired so I give them a lot of credit. Haven’t tried it yet and I’m sure I’ll make some changes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    DIY Backband

Since the Tethrd recliner backband is on back order I took it upon myself to DIY one. It’s a rough draft and may need some changes but it’s a start. I’ll attach it to the bridge with a prusik knot just like Tethrds. I also haven’t been able to use it yet so will probably need to adjust some...

    DIY Bow Holder/Hanger

My bow sight is a Vital Gear X Startrax. They aren't in business anymore and I've had it through 3 bows. It'll be a sad day if it ever breaks!

    DIY Bow Holder/Hanger

The strap for the GoPro mount was originally what I was going for. Then I thought, what else could I put on it so I could use it multiple ways. Then found the hookster on this site and added the molle loops.

    DIY Bow Holder/Hanger

You are welcome. I was contemplating my options. The hero clip was definitely one of them. I found the hookster for like 13 bucks shipped and then had the rest. It's probably not the option for everyone, but will definitely suit my needs. I wanted to post it to give guys other ideas.

    DIY Bow Holder/Hanger

Thank you! As long as this bow is in working order, I may never get rid of it. BTW, it's the Halon 32, not the Triax or Vertix.

    DIY Bow Holder/Hanger

My version of a DIY bow holder for saddle hunting. I took an old trail camera strap, sewed molle webbing creating loops, added the GoPro attachment, and finally added the Hawk hookster onto a loop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What knot to use?

I've heard and read that more knots = less strength. I agree that is correct. However the ropes and webbing that we use are very strong. Usually much stronger than we actually need. I'm curious if there actually has been times where ropes with the proper knots in good condition have actually...

    What knot to use?

I'm going to use the figure 8 with a bight. I think that will fit the best for my needs. :)

    What knot to use?

Yeah I plan on using a ropeman 1 and carabiner on the opposite side of where it's girth hitched. Thanks!

    What knot to use?

I have some 10 mm accessory rope that I am going to use for my linemans rope. To attach it to my loop on my Tethrd mantis, what knot would be best as far as being safe and strong, use the least amount of rope, and also something that won't be in the way. I'm thinking of adding a loop at the end...

    What do I need?

Thanks for the great tips! The more I research and learn the more things seem clear. Saddle hunting has been a bit of a mystery to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What do I need?

Thanks for the reply! Yes I already have a climbing method with my sticks. Just doing the research and seeing if I am missing anything really important. With offseason coming up I’m hoping to have my setup by summer. Spacing it out will help me bare the cost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What do I need?

Newbie questions: If I have zero saddle items, what are the necessities? Saddle (does the bridge come with it?), a platform, a tether, a lineman’s belt, ascender, and carabiners? Is that it? I’m already planning on the Tethrd Mantis and Predator platform. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
