    Plenty of does

If you have other places to hunt, then try them out - if you are buck hunting. Save that spot for the rut. I'd leave it unpressured if you haven't seen bucks coming thru on cameras or while hunting. They will be there in two months.

    Dangers of a Ropeman 1

Back around 2015-16 when we were getting on the Ropeman bandwagon here, lots of folks talked about the "Ropeman drop". Because we all had done it. Usually just a few inches before we let go. But I see how your friend wanted to hold onto it. It's natural to grab for something. I use a knot...

    Activated Carbon Information

Interesting, Sniper4Hire. As soon as I started following John's scent control routine, I started seeing more deer. They hung around longer and closer. And I noticed they would sniff right where I walked but not get spooked in anyway. People call that the void. They can see the ground...

How do you carry your predator platform up the tree?

Dang, I always just hoisted mine when I got to height. Don't like carrying much when I climb. Also hunt a lot of private land so I leave my platforms in trees when I can. But you all got some cool hook ups.

I still can't find at least 4 or 5 saddles I know I own. And I have had to tear up a storage room and my garage going through countless sealed bins to pull out what I had.

@redsquirrel I have been having a blast going through all of my stuff trying to find the best fit saddle for someone on the forum. In my search I found: original Lone Wolf Assassin set up. Complete with platform, harness/saddle, original instruction manual and in the original box...

Help Me Find Tree Hopper Spider Belt for Fat Guy

Dang, I should have asked him for that. I will toss the rope as soon as it arrives.

Help Me Find Tree Hopper Spider Belt for Fat Guy

Yeah, @Navigator I am an idiot. I went to their site previously and saw the few products on the front page. I thought that was all they were offering. But just a few minutes ago I clicked on their product tab and this belt came up. I dropped in to say that I just ordered one. Thanks, all!

Is this when a ropeman would come in handy?

You won't regret it. I use one on my climbing rope and tether. And I have a pair for each of my set ups. I've probably bought 8 of them by now. Gave a few away to skeptics.

Help Me Find Tree Hopper Spider Belt for Fat Guy

I wanted to try out my Tree Seat this year. But I've out grown the Tree Hopper Spider Belt as my and keep growing (and softening). Looks like they are discontinued. Basic specs that is need 1 7/8 - 2 1/8 inch belt. It must have the belt to strap me in. And then it must have two D-Rings...

    Eberhart Signature Saddle Intro

Oh, and my uninformed assumption is the leg straps will be cut off John's version before he hunts. And most of us would do the same. Of course he can't say that because of liability and he hasn't said that. I can share because I'm not associated at all so there is no liability for some dude...

    Eberhart Signature Saddle Intro

The belt - I can't say if/why it is better and maybe John would say it doesn't matter. But again, each difference is based on something he learned. So there could be a reason based on 40 years experience that aren't about cost savings or someone with less experience just trying to make it...

Can't you use the normal hi Can you use a standard hitch mounted storage racks for your deer?

To each their own. I'm not on commission for the ESS or anything like that. Simply trying to say that there are differences and a reason for every thing on the ESS and it is based on 40+ years. If someone chooses to save $50 and misses out on a buck because they didn't have the metal...

$50 less but missing some of the features that John explains well in the video posted here and in literature. There is a reason, a true purpose, behind each little thing John does. So I wouldn't dismiss this over $50. The man has been using almost an identical set up for 40 years and has...

ISO: Discounted Saddle Setup / Willing to work off the cost if local.

HumanCreed, I got you. I sent a PM with details. I need to flip thru what I have and see the answers to your questions so I can see what I don't need that might fit what you are looking for. Either way, I will have something to send for you to try. If it doesn't work out for you, you can...

Hello Again. It's been over a year!

John sent some to me. But I'm not sure if they are approved marketing materials so I'm hesitant to share.
