Yes something like 200 cycles. Safety and concerns are definitely being addressed by these gentlemen. My hats off to you all.

Now if Ernie would just throw in a kegerator for the first 100 buyers. :tearsofjoy::sweatsmile:

312 cycles I believe it’s been through so far. No issues.

Just realized tethrd took the king of diy off the market which means we don't get to drule over anymore awesome builds, all of his work will be locked down, sad day for fellow diyrs.

Also is it considered inside trading when you sell off ur inventory before a secret release of products that will change the market?

Not to be a negative Nancy but it is a forum, right?

Btw I'm still onboard, lol.

I’m so glad we have people like you guys to come up with something that looks amazing. Can’t wait to get my hands on the saddle and platform and what ever else I might need. Thanks to all involved.

Once Tethrd is up and running, you guys should make a video of driving into a camp and introducing people to saddle hunting.

I took mine to deer camp last year and convinced two guys to buy it lol

The last time I was in a deer club, the most mobile they got was putting a climber in a tree and left it there all year as a permanent stand. Lol

I would have sticks and stands everywhere so I would have a place to stand in my saddle!

It makes you lazy and you end up hunting the same spots and the deer pattern you. I usually see more the 1st time I hunt a tree. I don’t like presets unless it’s set up the day before for a morning hunt. That’s for bow hunting. With a gun, you don’t have to get right on top of them and can hunt from a distance causing less pressure.

There was one "mobile" member in the last club I was in. He built his blind on a 4×8 trailer and would tow it around and park it at different spots along the road.:)

If you got enough stands they cant avoid them all !!!!!!!! lol

I hate to disappoint you but my E&E is actually in COYOTE! Surprise!!! I'm estatic with the feedback on the Mantis!! It's one thing for me to think I do good work, but when I sent out half a dozen prototypes to seasoned saddle hunters, all with more saddle experience than me, I must say I was more than a little nervous. When I started getting the positive feedback from the testers, I was completely overwhelmed with joy!

And I admit I am a bit of a Kifaru Kool-Aid drinker. Some of my design aspects were born of my experience with Kifaru products.
@ckossuth, Nice needle-work!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone have a mystery ranch crest? It has a flap similar to one I thought would work well for the platform. Camofire has it at a decent price. I’m just not sure if it would try to work out the side of it.

With the lumbar pack I’d probably just sling the platform over my shoulder with the strap.

I've been considering the same thing. The Alps Pathfinder or Big Bear looks like it would hold all my filming gear nicely while maintaining light weight.
