This is one awesome project...congratulations for a great DIY....Well it's mostly assembled. I have to add tensioners to the bridge loops, cut the straps to an appropriate length and finish the ends.
I know my sewing skills are sub par. I'm quite rusty but the stitches are adequate to do the job.

I have dabbled in DIY all of my life. It's like crack! You just opened up a deep rabbit hole but if you like diy you will enjoy it congrats on a great start!!!
I havent noticed it to be noisy yet. It is very durable as long as it doesn't get torn and it is easy to work with. Just watch your thread tension is my only advice.I’ve been tempted to pick up some rip stop nylon to play with for lining bags and other projects. Wondering how you like it for a saddle. Is it noisy or slippery? Is it difficult to sew? I’ve never had my hands on any besides some already sewn small pieces of a soft cooler.
Keep up the good work, looks great!

I got all of the hardware from vendors on Amazon.Where did you get your webbing buckles and slides?
I made some hammocks out of it and so far it is quiet. It is slippery to deal with. I think as it starts to freeze though it will become noisy. A similar material is in one of my packs and that becomes extremely noisy once it freezes.I’ve been tempted to pick up some rip stop nylon to play with for lining bags and other projects.
