Another Boring Stick Build

what are you selling, sticks or standoffs? Let me know when I can get a set of standoffs.

Really the thing I dislike the most about my home made sticks are the standoffs
I like the helium and beast standoff’s and yours look great

I have lone wolf on mine. I don’t like them. What are on your sticks?

I have tried muddy, lone wolf and xop... I don't like any of them. I do like hawk helium and beast standoffs.
I like the new versa strap idea to eliminate the cam cleat as well.

I guess I always seem to reach for the beast sticks even though my homemade sticks are slightly lighter. I seldom use my helium sticks. I guess that is how I know which I like best. All three are good options. I keep them all and use some as preset sticks on public land. If they get stolen... OH well . No theft so far and I usually leave the first stick 10 feet up.
I do not leave my beast sticks on presets

My API's have the muddy stand off's. I'll agree that I don't like them. They don't nest well and there are much better (lighter) designs out.

Muddys are almost double the weight of lone wolf. Xop are in between. Helium and Beast sticks standoffs are near perfect. IMO

Really you cannot beat the bang for the buck of a helium. But 3 helium's will weigh more a 1 pound more than beast sticks. Folding steps are nice... Less width but more length.

What’s the versa strap. I’ve heard that mentioned a couple times but I’m not sure I know what it is. Is a Muddy thing? They eliminated the cam cleat? I thought that was the bomb. I never had any but is t that what everyone likes about the muddy sticks?

I put cam cleats on some of my other sticks and they are great but I think Carls new thing is likely better. The sticks will stack better and the overall weight will be less with no noise.

Heck yeah that looks like the ticket. I just got a bunch of 7/64 Amsteel to make daisy chains for my sticks but I’m just a little concerned about the rope wanting to roll down on smooth bark trees. Wish I had seen this before Friday when I ordered all my rope.
