Any long range shooters here

Oh I like those brackets. I may have to weld up a set. The adjustability is awesome

Thanks! I wish I took better pics when I was fabricating them. I think I have a 135 degree can't so the legs lock in under a load. Also critical to offset the tubing that will receive the legs, if you do not offset, the legs will collide. Also try and weld on the nut for the bolt tension on the back of the bracket to protect from bullet spray... Don't judge the welds had to use some mediocre flux core

I shoot long range, both at steel and quadrapeds. I have a 500 yard range and shoot 1000 yds as well at a local range. I'm an avid bowhunter but do not shoot long range( meaning beyond 40yds) with archery gear. I build my own long range guns and enjoy helping friends set there own up. Attached are shots at 1 mile out west. Also some 500 yd groups at my range.

I have a pasture where I can shoot a little over 600 yards. Coyotes mostly stay in the back so I get a few shots off on coyotes over 500 yards. Tough to hit them that far.

I shoot my bow out to 100 yards some. 3d decoy sure gets small that far out too.

What kind of lathe do you use for the machine work?

A mile! That is awesome! How big is your target at that range?

Any crossbow shooters? Trying to site in is getting frustrating. Should I just site in my 20 pin and then keep moving the targets until I know exactly which crosshair is whatever yardage? My scope unfortunately does not sight in at 20,30,40,50,60. It's more like 25,30,38,48,55. Shooting 301fps is a little too slow? Pile drivers are heavy but I prefer a heavy bolt over a lighter one. Advice would be appreciated.
