I have been looking for over a year for the rubber cap that XOP used to include on the leveling screw of their replacement seats. I'll give a free platform to the first guy who can show me where to buy them in bulk.

Ernie wondering if you ever considered those furniture feet bolts with the ball joint?

Looks like anything rubber will have to come from abroad....which I'm sure is why XOP used them. I can help you source them, but I just can't see Tethrd wanting Chinese parts. I've also sourced custom rubber components domestically if you're interested in that route.

Note: you may find these from auto parts manufacturers. Used to cover bolt heads on windshield wiper blades.

May be able to make rubber thread covers/pipe end covers work if you get the sizing right...

Same seller below, may be able to contact for larger volume.
If the pipe caps are something you are interested in trying out, you may be able to contact a local plumbing supply house to see if they are able to get them. They typically require a business account, but may be worth setting up depending what they can do.

Anyone try instamold? I've made hooks and it seems pretty robust.

That would be DIY solution obviously not what you are asking.
