Idk I must have missed something because I don’t understand that hate for that guy. I think he seems like a really nice dude and his videos are pretty good! His wife’s good lookin too lol

I didn’t watch the video yet but I think what’s wrong with it is he’s shooting one hundred yards past my max distance lol. That’ll get some views lol dang! And yes I’ve heard of the poaching charge but didn’t read into it. People make mistakes. We’re all guilty. Just judging off his videos I think he seems like a nice guy. He lives in my brother’s hometown. Maybe I’ll run into him one day.

So far, all the Bowmar haters I've seen refuse to here their side of the story, don't know anything about what they are saying about them, and don't care. All I'm saying is "Successful people will have haters, and haters will NOT be successful people"! Let's talk about what the forums where intended for.

That's not "all people do" here. Quite the opposite 99% of the time. This is the friendliest forum on the internet. Talking to other hunters is what the forum is intended for. Don't shut down speech if it's something u don't agree with. This forum is censored enough already for some things (that's fine, its clearly stated in the rules).

Tell us why he's such a great guy and we're all wrong. Well...That's just like...your opinion man. Let er rip. If I don't like a yuppy celebrity hunter and what he is teaching new hunters, then I should be able to talk about that. Hunting is quickly becoming a rich man's sport and people like him are a huge problem IN MY OPINION. It's attracting wealthy people and shutting out people like me that can't buy/lease land for astronomical prices. Opportunities to hunt the age class structure of deer he hunts are completely unobtainable for all but the wealthiest of hunters now (excluding land owners that have owned land for the last 20+ years). Some people feel just as strongly about the hunting public's approach to hunting and that it has a negative overall effect for our country's future in hunting. I disagree. This a place to talk about it

I dont refuse to "hear" his side of the story. I just refuse to like him and what he represents for the future of hunting. And I certainly refuse to buy his expandable broadheads.
 
Bowmar is what my 8 yr old calls a doofus. I can’t listen to his whispering…it’s like fingers in a chalk board to me. Maybe it’s dry mouth, maybe it’s the annunciation, but it dang sure gets on my nerves. Plus, who wants to watch somebody shoot African game in a high fence anyway.

I watch both THP and Bowmar. I dont dislike either of them I'm jealous of both. One is build like a tank has money and a hot wife and hunts the best land in America and Africa the other is a plain Ol guy that gets to hunt for a living. I would take either one. I have never heard Bowmar teach things to hunters that are hurtful or not true. Neither have I heard THP do it. They are just going about the same business from opposite ends. Man America is a great place to live. What has Bowmar or THP said that was hurtful to hunters or the hunting tradition?
 
This feels like some kind of brand name infringement. When I first saw this I thought Dan was following suit (LWCG) and coming out with a broadhead.
 
@Gator88 Bowmar does a fair amount of stuff I don’t agree with (for example wish they hadn’t called it Beast) but I kinda like the guy too. I have close friends who do stuff I don’t always agree with. At one point I listened to a bunch of podcasts about their poaching scandal, we’ll never know the truth but Josh’s explanation seems perfectly reasonable to me. And maybe I’m a total moron but I think it’s entirely possible he burned that truck on accident. If nothing else, the nose button seems to work pretty well.

I keep hearing on forums about the truck thing but know nothing about it. He burned up a truck for grins? YouTube vids? Idk. From the little I know of the guy, I got no reason to hate on him. I don’t have any social media besides this and archery talk tho. Probably miss a lot of BS. And I like it that way. The nose buttons, peep tuners and grip tape are winners and worth buying. I betcha the broadheads are good too.
