Has anyone tried bow holders like this one?
Hoping maybe this will work well.

I think red squirrel posted that he made a similar one.

Last year I tried clipping something to amsteel wrapped once around the tree trunk. Didn't work - I think that stuff is too slippery, and I couldn't get it tight enough. I think the webbing will solve that. Works well enough in the yard.

The only problem I for see with what you posted is that my bow didn't do well right against the tree. I like it hanging off the tree. YMMV.

I'm going o try using one of my Cranford rope steps as a Bow hanger.
I hang my gear from a Rock Climbing Daisy Chain
They're strong enough to hold your Bodyweight.

I have the Thirdhandarchery gear belt.
It's not a Bow Hanger though

I bought one of those. I like the strap a lot, its nice and quiet but the hooks aren't great for hanging a bow. I use the strap with this custom bow holder, and I moved the hooks to another strap for holding my backpack, they work fine for that.

I did a DIY hook a couple of weeks ago and tied to the trunk with an alpine knot/trucker's hitch to get it good and tight.

Ya can't beat the "camo" color!

Genius!
Can't believe I didn't think of that...I have at least 10 'pot hooks' like that laying around my yard.
