I plan to use a clipter but with a whoopie sling. Very light, packs small. Wrap the whoppie around the tree, pull it through its own loop and adjust the length.. Hook clipter to the end that is pulled through.

I can’t sew, don’t have a sewing machine, so I came up with this. It started out with about 15-20 feet of paracord and I tied loops every couple inches. You will go through cord faster than you think. It works. I am going to modify the hooks to my liking but you get the idea.

Kind of hard to beat the"happy ending" post but I thought I'd post pictures of my hanger setup. As I noted in a post above it's a piece of daisy chained amsteel that I girth hitch around the tree similar to the others noted and then I tension it with my packs weight on the tag end. To me the advantage of the daisy chained rope like this is the loop the Qlipter is attached to closes up on the Qlipter holding it tight so that it doesn't lift up when I lift my bow.
Man thanks for sharing this! I just ordered some Amsteel, a cliptor, and a couple S-Biners. Should be here tomorrow!
Btw did you have to do any splicing to do the girth hitch or daisy chain? Guess I need to YouTube it lol
