Bow Practice Time

Did you mean Levi Morgan? Any idea what the article is called?

I think he's talking about using a vertical/horizontal line to shoot at rather than a dot. With a vertical line you can shoot up and down the line and see your left/right misses. Same thing you would use for a walkback tune.

But that way you would avoid shooting groups into the same dot and potentially busting an arrow.

Finally figured my bow out over the last two nights. I had new strings put on and it would shoot good groups then out of no where be off. I sat down and watched it pull back and found the cable guide rod was moving in and out. I fixed that and went back to throw some arrows it still was doing the same thing. I began to think it was me. So I sat back down and looked everything over a third time and found my rest had a hairline crack in it. Ran out and got a new rest and dialed it back in using the taped T shape now it's back on the money. Thanks for showing me that it saved me from hitting arrows on arrows and really got it sighted back in quick.
I'm not sure what the shop did to screw that up but I'm glad that I caught it before the opener.

I know what you mean. I have taken a few hogs and other critters but not a white tail... yet! I am going to get the big buck this year though. Even the critters get you going when all goes right. (In full disclosure, I was not trying for a headshot on the opossum)

Nice shot but he might be your best friend. Those little guys kill ticks like no one else. Nice shot

For your shoulder turn your bow down to its lowest setting and work your way back up over time. Otherwise you'll do what I did on my first shoulder and start screwing up the muscle memory of your form. It'
