Bridge length/ tree tether length

maybe 6-8"

Yeah that is going to limit you. But to shoot right behind you you can really just spin your bridge on the biner, you should almost need to extra tether to do it.

then how do you get a tether at head height , a 24" bridge, and be in a leaning position?
I switch between leaning and sitting frequently.

I can't really answer that. I never lean so I have more tether to work with. You would have to put the tether up higher.

I switch between leaning and sitting a lot, too. My bridge is only about 19" or 20". Tether at eye level or a touch higher. Try a little shorter bridge or set your tether a bit higher...

Howdy! I’m new to mobile tree stand hunting and trying to pivot to saddle hunting using my HSS pro safety harness until I can upgrade. Does anyone use their LB adjusted to a good length for a bridge? I purchased a tethered safety tether with a prussic knot and tethered lineman’s belt with a Ropeman 1. I have a Ropeman 2 as well, but it tears up the tethered ropes I have currently.

When i set my tether above my head my kite always feels like it wants to give me a wedgie and pull up my back I usually end up at throat level and shorten my bridge to 14” or so. But then i get some hip pinch. Still experimenting
