Bridge length

Is there any rule of thumb for bridge length aka wider for less hip pinch or smaller? I am using a 24in bridge on my sit drag with the tether at about eyeball height. When I put my full weight in the sit drag there is some hip pressure. It's tolerable but I'm wondering if I can make it better. I'm also 5-10 200pounds if that helps

Try running very little tether where you are leaning into the SitDrag rather than sitting in it.

Also....do you have a linesmans belt?
I did the above and found that if I kept just a little pressure on my linesmans belt, I was pretty comfortable

I tie my bridge about 16" and after putting load on it it stretches to probably 24" or so. This seems to be about optimal length for me given my tree strap height of about eye level hookup.

Don't be afraid to play with your bridge length. I tied mine off with two stopper knots in either side of the paws to get desired length.

Longer is more comfortable, but shorter is better for shooting clearance. I have mine so its adjustable and I shorten it for prime time. Tonight was my first set of the year, changed it is 3 times playing around and also ended up with my tether Adams apple high with no problems. The lower the hook up the easier to shoot for me, since Im using a recurve and platform. My bridge goes from like 22-40 or something like that, dont recall exactly. Its posted somewhere on here with pics(amsteel).

What do you use that is adjustable is it homemade or you bought?
