Bullman Steps

Not for me. but I am a big guy. They were not terrible but not on my list for platforms. I actually like climbing with them tho

I have a the platform set. I haven’t yet hunted from my saddle but have set them up numerous times for practice sits at my house. They work fine as long as you tighten the crap out of the strap. It’s also going to depend on whether you want to be more of a leaner or a sitter as to how comfortable they are to stand on. I like to lean more than sit so I think I’m going to buy one of the Ernie Outdoors Predator platform for my main standing area and reduce down to a step on each side of that for extra mobility around the tree

Where do I find the platform you are referring too? I did see Ernie was coming out with a new one soon, is that the one you are referring to?

I'm a leaner and used stepps for a platform last season, but was hoping to switch over to a ring of steps. Would like to find some Ameristeps and a little skeptical on Bullman.

I like the ameristeps better. It seems the bullman's have to be ratched down very very tight to work as a platform. I was not able to get them tight enough with my boat buckle.

Yes. It’s in the thread “getting closer”

If you add wood screws they work a lot better. I can get them to lock now.
Can you post a picture of the screws in the steps? I have the steps but I'd like them to be more solid if I'm using them for a platform. How long are the screws you are using?

Thanks.

These ameristeps with screws were in the classifieds
