I dont think I would worry so much about the 6 pound mark and focus more on actual functionality. Light is great but I would gladly take a little more weight for significant improvement in function.

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

Guess I'll have to be the first to suggest a platform/hoverboard combo. Gets you in the woods and up the tree in a fraction of the time without breaking a sweat, and renders all existing climbing methods obsolete.
