I went turkey hunting in Texas a couple years ago with my boss (not my wife) and it was awesome and quite different landscape from what I expected Texas to be. I actually sat on a cactus when taking the photo below. Very cool looking birds down there.

It would be awesome to scout and hunt there but just too far away.

Nice gobbler! That must have been in south Texas or the hill country?

I’m in central east Tx where the terrain is way different from that. Very thick and filled with hardwoods.

I’m talking about helping me scout and plan how to hunt my deer?
