Disadvantages to saddle hunting

I remember a guy on AT went as far as learning to shoot ambidextrous and wearing a release on both hands.

its not the actual shot or getting my body turned. Its getting my bow and my 32.5" arrow over my tether and on the other side of the tree when that bruiser makes an unexpected turn....heart attack

OP I love Saddle hunting. Ill never go back to trad stands, but you asked and if there is one black mark this is it. If there is one direction that you don't have a shot, set up so that is on your direct right side (if you are a righty that is...opposite for lefties)
