If that property is still available for you to hunt, make sure to hunt the tree on the hillside in the crap. That spot is as good as it gets for early season and the rut phases and you'll get an opportunity if hunted correctly. Go in now and put entry route reflective markers so you can easily find it in all that crap on morning entries. Good luck man

Thanks, John. The only problem with your plan is "if hunted correctly". It's me we are talking about - does not compute!
Maybe I'll read "...The Eberhart Way" again to help with that. Or just have you down in December again to show me how it's done.

Jay's Sporting Goods is arguably the best hunting and fishing store in the country. Not as fancy as Cabala's or Bass Pro Shops but, man have they got the stuff!!!

Just spent the day in the woods today, with John at his workshop . It was a pleasure to see how he sets up his hunting areas , and feeding on his knowledge. He has been very good to share his hunting wisdom. Awesome experience.

Just attended last weekend, was awesome learning John's thought process for choosing and setting locations and advantages to the saddle system. Am relatively new hunter and this accelerated the learning curve immensely. Attend if you can, you won't regret it!

Legend. I've had his books for a number of years. They've taught me a ton. Finally getting back to the point in life where I can free up more scouting time. 3/4 of it is scouting and prep IMO. The rest is entry/exit and shooting straight.

Would love to see a seminar farther east. I've got the 400 acres and a place to stay. They grow'em big here in Delaware. Hate to say it, but between us and Maryland, the eastern shore is not much of a secret any longer.

I'll third the group saying "Let's get John to TN".

I am on the East side of the state, but I have 450 acres that we could use as "outdoor classroom" and could probably get us a room for the indoor as well. Let's talk.

    Yes, I just quoted myself. :D :D
Is anyone in the South East interested in pursuing this?
