EZV SIGHT

Done a bunch of spot shooting since January. A little 3D, up to 30yard. With what I’ve done, I am loving it. Still pending is shooting outdoors at various distances, and from a tree

I've got a setup question. I took off a MBG one pin slider that stuck out several inches from the riser. The depth for a pin doesn't make any difference, but does it for the EZ V? Are you attaching it to the farthest in setting, or the farthest out? Thanks for the help

Attach it in the set of holes that makes it line up with your Peep sight. Always try to center the entire sight housing in your peep so that your head is always in the same spot on every shot. I have one of these sights and it's a great hunting sight. It takes some getting used to.

I decided to remove my peep and added a kisser button as a 3rd anchor. I see what you're saying though. I guess with my scenario either attachment will work? I mean, we are only talking an inch or so.

I would mount it in the holes that bring it closer to the bow. That will make your set up a little less critical to side to side hand pressure.

Great hunting sight! Reminds me of the good old days of shooting barebow. Super quick to get on target (more shot opportunities), allows you to focus on point of impact only with clear line of sight (eliminates target panic problems), great in low light & more of an instinctive shot process. I use the side with the yard marks allowing option to use range finder should I have the time on longer shoots. Don’t even think about it out to 40 yards.

This is exactly what drew me to this sight. I don't like having the sight pins blocking what i'm shooting at. After using the EZV for awhile I've found my groups have tightened up but most importantly i don't have the anxiety I used to have. Everyone's mileage will vary, but it works for me and i'm sticking to it.

Anybody know if the thiner inserts are available yet.

Don't see em on the website. I spoke with Aaron via email in January and he said he was working on getting them done. Until then he told me you can remove some of the material on your current inserts with a dremel or file if you're careful.

thank's for the heads up, I'll wait for him to do it and buy one then.

if anyone catches wind of that coming out - or a sale :) - post up - I'll be looking to grab one finally. Trying to space out my "investments"

I bought one have had it about 10 days. Set up was easy only one insert change. It is set up on my gear head T24 excellent addition- lightweight and seems to be user friendly. Have shot elk, deer, and turkey on practice range at unknown yardages with very good results. My eyes are aging a little, the clear view of desired target is a huge benefit for me. Frame up until you think it is correct and then execute a good an accurate shot. It is also well made and seems like it will handle my requirements.

My wife bought me one for Christmas and because of back surgery I was unable to try it out until now. Followed the set up instructions and had know problems getting everything dialed in. At known yardages I was right on target. Walking around the yard and just throwing arrows at unknown distance was a different story. I was still on paper and hitting the 3D but I’m definitely not ready to be shooting at a live animal with confidence to make the kill shot. I do have all summer to gain confidence. I’m not ready to throw it on the self just yet. I love the open view at the target and you really don’t even need the level because you can easily see any torque. At this point I have more likes with the sight than dislikes.

I'm afraid I would forget everything in the heat of the moment and just launch an arrow lol. At least with a pin I have something to focus on. Maybe with the EZV it's automatic and that's not an issue. I'd just have to try it I guess.
I put one on my bow this spring. I'm actually hoping it has the opposite effect for me. In the heat of the moment I tend to get a little target panic and sometimes punch my release. I'm hoping since this doesn't require precise pin placement tha it might help with the worrying about whether the pin is precisely placed. Since I'm framing the vitals in the V I'm hoping I'm not worrying about small movements of the sight picture.

So far I like it but it definitely is an adjustment. It will take some more practice to see if its effective for me.

I’m in the same boat. It seems awful strange when you trust the sight and let your mind forget how to shoot pin sights. And Pow! Right where you want it

Thank you.

I am in bifocals. I tried the bifocal contacts and they did not work for me. Usually I just wear contacts to enhance my distance. Then I have to wear readers.

Used to have 2010 vision. I could read a book across the room.
My wife used to have the same problem you have but eventually bought her trifocals and she shoots awesome now. There is no line in the lens like bi focals
