As you climb the tree do you have your other sticks attached to the saddle some how or do you climb back down and get them? I am new to the saddle, transitioning from the climber. I have 4 hawk helium sticks. Any input would be much appreciated. I have a platform from Ernie, for those who use it do you have it tied to rope connected to your saddle and pull it up? Or do you just climb back down and get it?

For your sticks you can rig up a couple of loops so that you can attach them to the side of your saddle. I have done that before but last year I went to 3 sticks and I put the first one on and then just wore one over each shoulder on the way up.

I have loops on my saddle that the sticks hook into to keep my hands free for climbing; one on each side.

I have 2 loops of paracord off the back of saddle for 2 sticks. Attach one stick to tree climb up hang second one, then the other 2 as I climb I pull them off the back of saddle. As for Ernie. I attach it to my backpack and climb with it on my back. Get to hunting Height, put up my steps and Ernie then pull up my bow. Followed by hopefully a successful hunt.

when I carried multiple sticks I bungeed them up (using multilple bungees) so when I removed a bungee, one stick was loose. Then just stuffed bungee in a pocket. Using these "stretch lock bungees" its quick work. My local home depot carries them for cheap.

Then for the last stick I had some kind of shoulder strap/rope rigged up to carry the bundle behind my back draped over a shoulder/neck.

I then had my ameristeps platform strap double half hitched to a molle loop on my saddle. With a platform you could just girth hitch a small paracord loop to it and clip it to back of your saddle.

I use nite ize gear ties instead of rope or paracord. I like it a lot.

You can see me using it on my sticks in this video.

Clipping the platform to my saddle worked great! Def going to make that part of my routine. Thanks for the idea.

I have the accessory loops and clips on my Kestrel. On my platform I attached a clip and on my climbing sticks I tied in loops with paracord. Right before I climb I clip them all behind my back and reach back to unclip them as I need them. Everything is Stealth Stripped and completely silent. Works great for me.
