New to the form and have been reading all the useful info that's available here. My questions is, How well/safe do you think the Hunters Safety System Bow hunter harness combined with a Sit N Drag will be? I've been playing with this set up and everything feels fine just wanting some more opinions. This is the harness that I hunt with from climbing stand and lock on and what I use to hang all my lock on sets.

Thanks in advance.

It is not optimal. The benefit of backing up with a rock climbing harness is the way you hook up in front off you just like the saddle. You would have it setup so you could have minimal drop in the rare event of a failure. The safety harness is going to whip you around and its gonna hurt. Would you be hooking it up to the tree above you as if you were in a tree stand?

Rock climbing harness. You will feel a freedom like you never have before coupled with a complete peace of mind regarding safety

If it were me I would go with a saddle which was designed for hunting. Thats just my opinion.

Its better then nothing, But a RC harness would be much safer and practical.
