and the maraca issue and packaging, as well as the suction cups issue. MAKE SURE YOU HAND TIGHTEN THE SUCTION CUPS. if you crank to hard you will ruin them
So using my Milwaukee Fuel 1/4” impact driver wasn’t the best idea on my Maraca’s

I’m sitting here looking at my 30s that I am planning to sell, stacked up next to my 20s. The little devil on one shoulder says “swap out the hardware on those full size before you sell them“. Then the angel on the other shoulder says “ yeah but then you’ll still have 1 crappy 20 and a pissed off saddlehunter.”

I ordered a set of helium 20” from midway. Are most of these problems coming from a Mack’s? Is midway having this problem at all or just Mack’s?

I've had mine for about 3 weeks or so and they came in fine condition. No loose or missing parts and they went together and work slick. The first thing I did was get rid of the straps that came with them and installed amsteel daisy chains I made myself.
I received mine a few weeks ago from Midway and there were no issues. Had them out about 3 or 4 times. I did get a single Versa strap for one to try out. Wanted to make sure I liked it. Worked pretty well in the few trees I’ve climbed. Moving forward I will probably purchase 3 more of the Versas or try the Amsteel first and see what I like better. Have you used the Versas? Looking for opinions on how they stack up against the Amsteel daisy chains. Thanks,
Matt

Have both- prefer the Amsteel daisy chains- single or double wrap on tree. I prefer the versa (tethrd bigger loop) for my lw.

I’ll have to order one of the Amsteel daisy chains and see what I prefer

Speaking of straps. I watched a Youtube video a few minutes ago where a guy replaced his straps also but I loved that he used the straps instead of tossing them. He used the factory strap pieces and made him an aider on the bottom step of each one with the long piece of the strap. He made it long enough ( I think 18") so it would fit over the top step while carrying in. Genius... set up on tree, open the top steps, unwrap the aider strap, good to go. I think he said he could get 18 or 19' with that setup using 4 20" steps. Pretty sure it was DIY Saddle Hunter or something like that.
