Hawk Helium or Beast Sticks

So three modded Heliums only weigh about 14 oz more than three Beasts? Easy choice for me.

I have both and they both work well. I would not hesitate to use either. Dan's are light and look cool as heck. Heliums stack down into a smaller package and have folding steps. both grab a tree well, can be used with a carry-as-you-go aider, get to same height. Both will need some stealth stripping or camo tape to stack tight and reduce noise. I know Dan and all he does through the Hunting Beast site so using his is a way of giving back. I don't think you can go wrong with either. You will need to do more modding with the Heliums.... but they are half the price...... in the end it's a win/win either way you go :)

Really? My modified Lonewolf’s with Dano double steps and Amsteel weight 5lb 10 ounces wrapped in vet wrap. That’s 3 sticks.

What is your distance from top of step to top of step.

22”. Basically bolted the bottom step to the hole for the bottom Allen head and top step in the original hole for the versabutton. Drilled out with 1/2” hole like a beast stick.

Good comment
As far as stacking. It depends if width depth or length is important to you

Hawks will be longer in a stack
Beasts will be higher in a stack
Hawks will be narrower in a stack because of the folding step
For me with a hybrid JX3. beast sticks are perfect
With a mantis it is a wash
