Hello everyone!

I decided this year I would try out my saddle once again. I have had it for several years but I haven't used it for much of that time. As my name suggests, I primarily hunt public land and I have had some annoying encounters these past couple of years with other hunters sitting in my hang-ons/ladderstands or with my stands removed.

Anyway, I have a saddle on hand and I am going to use it as much as I can this up coming season. I have been practicing off and on this summer to get the hang of it again.

I am glad I found this site! Lots of great information and experience that you are all willing to share.

Welcome to the addiction...
What part of Oklahoma do you hunt?
I hunt north Texas and southern Oklahoma.
Bryan, Marshall, and Love counties mostly in OK.

I live in north central OK. I primarily hunt Kaw Lake. There are some OLAP (public walk in hunting leases) popping up nearby. Some look to be pretty good. I don't make it down that close to Texas unless work takes me down there.
