I was born in Cáceres, 90kms North of Merida, also in Extremadura... Great place to live!
 
Welcome from Maryland! I think you can try getting into saddle hunting with a rock climbing harness and a fleece saddle. I'm pretty sure you would not have a problem finding a rock climbing harness as Spain is known to be a great place for climbers. And there are a lot of videos to make a fleece saddle which may be even more comfortable then most commercial saddles. This forum is very passionate about safety and keeping each others safe, so please ask anytime if you have any concern about it.

Thanks... That´s one of the paths I'm exploring as I 've found someone here in spaint that´s able to produce it himself, but also and perhaps my first step will be to buy some commercial saddle. I've already contacted some of the classifieds in this same forum... just´s let´s see if I find someone who is willing to send it to Spain (i've done the same with bows in the past)
